This 2008 Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione was acquired by the seller’s father in 2019 and is one of 500 coupes built between 2008 and 2010, approximately 90 of which were designated for the US market. The car is powered by a 4.7-liter F136 V8 mated to a six-speed semi-automatic transaxle with a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Rosso 8C Competizione over Cuoio leather. Features include a Bose Premium GT sound system, 20″ alloy wheels, painted brake calipers, and Poltrona Frau woven-leather accents for the carbon-fiber sport seats as well as bi-xenon headlights, a Becker CD stereo, cruise control, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Work in preparation for the sale consisted of replacing the battery and changing fluids. This 8C has a fitted piece of luggage, the owner’s manuals, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.

The 8C Competizione was introduced at the 2006 Paris Motor Show and marked the nameplate’s return to the US market after a 13-year absence, reviving the 8C name originally used for Alfa Romeo’s eight-cylinder racing cars of the 1930s. Styling cues from the company’s post-war sporting cars can be seen in the carbon-fiber body panels, which are supported by a steel space frame.

The 20″ five-loop clover alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero tires. Stopping power is provided by Alfa Romeo-branded Brembo calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. The emergency brake was adjusted and a brake fluid flush was performed in January 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed semi-automatic transaxle that can be operated in five different modes of automatic or paddle-controlled shifting. A limited-slip differential was standard.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists one open recall.
