Clean Carfax Report
This 2005 Porsche Carrera GT is one of 1,270 examples built during a four-year production run. Subsequent work involved replacing the camshafts, spark plugs, ignition coils, drive belts, and fluids. The car was imported to the US in 2025 and now has over 6k miles. It is finished in black over Dark Gray leather and is powered by a 5.7-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes XT-sized seats, 19″ and 20″ center-lock alloy wheels, ceramic composite brakes, an electronically actuated rear spoiler, removable roof panels, xenon headlights, air conditioning, and a Porsche Online Pro CD stereo.
The Carrera GT concept car first appeared at the 2000 Paris Motor Show as an offshoot of the late-1990s LMP2000 development prototype that never came to fruition. The model entered production in 2003 with construction incorporating a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic monocoque and subframe built by ATR Group in Italy.
The forged magnesium wheels measure 19×9.5” up front and 20×12.5” at the rear and are secured by center-lock nuts that are color-coded in reference to thread direction. They are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 265/30 and 325/30, respectively. Pushrod-activated coilover struts are mounted inboard all around, and stopping power is provided by cross-drilled 15” ceramic composite brake rotors with yellow six-piston monobloc aluminum calipers at each corner.
The cockpit features XT-sized racing-style seats with carbon-fiber and Kevlar shells trimmed in Dark Gray leather along with a matching dashboard, center console, door A-pillars, and door caps. The Carrera GT features magnesium, carbon-fiber, and aluminum interior trim, and additional equipment includes one-touch power windows, air conditioning, heated power-adjustable side mirrors, and a Porsche Online Pro CD stereo. The high-mounted shifter is topped with a laminated beechwood knob in homage to the balsa units that appeared in Porsche 917 race cars.
The serialization ahead of the shifter denotes this chassis as #818.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline as well as a 235-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.
The mid-mounted 5.7-liter M80/01 V10 is liquid-cooled and features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank, titanium connecting rods, dry-sump lubrication, and Bosch Motronic ME7 engine management. It produced 605 horsepower at 8,000-rpm and 435 lb-ft of torque at 5,750-rpm when new.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
A set of black leather fitted luggage is included in the sale.
