This 2023 Mercedes-Maybach S680 4MATIC is one of 150 by Virgil Abloh units produced by Mercedes-Benz Manufaktur, all of which left the factory finished in Obsidian Black Metallic and Colorado Beige. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 that drives all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission, and special equipment includes the Executive Rear Seat Package Plus, front and rear Energizing Packages, two-row heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, and edition-specific customizations for the MBUX suite, which includes an augmented-reality head-up display, navigation, Interior Assist, and a High-End rear entertainment system. This special-edition W223 S680 is now offered with a clean California title.

Available for the 2023 model year at a cost of $104,550, the by Virgil Abloh Edition included a two-tone scheme of Obsidian Black Metallic and Colorado Beige with edition-specific trim accents. Exterior details include soft close doors, a panoramic glass sunroof, Active Parking Assist sensors, a toll gate transponder, heated power-folding side mirrors, and LED Intelligent Light System with Adaptive Highbeam Assist and LED taillights.

Colorado Beige-finished 20″ Maybach Exclusive forged wheels are mounted with Hankook tires. The car rides on an Airmatic air suspension and features adaptive braking technology as well as rear-axle steering.

Trimmed in Black and Colorado Beige Exclusive Maybach Nappa leather, the cabin has heated, ventilated, and massaging multi-contour front seats with memory functions, heated armrests, and the Energizing Package. The interior is further appointed with Active Distance Assist Distronic, a Burmester 4D Surround Sound System, power side and rear window sunshades, wireless charging, four-zone automatic climate control, and MBUX infotainment with navigation.

The Executive Rear Seat Package Plus adds a pair of power-adjustable, heated, and ventilated rear Executive seats with recline, memory, and massaging functions. Rear cabin details include electric comfort doors, fold-out tables, power-operated window blinds, color-matched leather pillows, a dual-screen entertainment system, heated and cooled cupholders, and a refrigerator compartment with champagne flutes. The heated steering wheel fronts a 12.3″ configurable digital instrument panel and an MBUX augmented-reality head-up display. A suite of driving aids includes a dashcam, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, and Active Parking Assist.

The twin-turbocharged 6.0-liter V12 was factory rated at 621 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. A "10k-mile" service was performed in December 2024.

Power is delivered to the all four wheels through a 9G-Tronic nine-speed automatic transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system.
