One of 599 produced, the car is finished in Rosso Corsa with a Grigio Silverstone Opaco roof and is powered by a 6.0-liter F140 V12 linked with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and a limited-slip differential. It rides on forged 20″ Y-spoke alloy wheels coupled with red-finished brake calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors at all four corners. Daytona-style, carbon-bucket seats trimmed in black leather with red accents are equipped inside, and further details include a Bose stereo and Scuderia Ferrari fender shields along with carbon-fiber interior and exterior accents.
The 599 was designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Jason Castriota and featured Ferrari’s first all-aluminum GT car chassis. The GTO debuted in April 2010 as a road-going version of the 599XX track car weighing approximately 200 pounds less than the contemporary 599 GTB, and it featured aerodynamic upgrades that doubled the downforce at speed.
